Budget
May to November
The Dominican Republic is one of the most inexpensive vacation destinations year-round; however, hotel prices are lower from May through August. Though it's high season, airfare is actually cheaper from January through April because airlines add more flights to meet demand and the competition for traveler dollars keeps prices competitive. However, hotel rates are more expensive during high season, as there is a fixed and limited supply of rooms.
