Guadeloupe offers a variety of desirable French products, from luxury products for women to French china and liqueurs. If you’re a craft lover, you can find attractive wood carvings, madras table linens, island dolls dressed in madras, woven straw baskets and hats at Cantre Artisanat, La Gall and Madras Bijoux shops. The most popular Guadeloupian souvenir is rum. Be aware that the only liquor bottles allowed on planes have to be bought in the duty-free shops at the airport.
Tip: ATM’s are available in every town. US Dollars are accepted but change might be given in Euros.
